About Me:
The vibrant, culture-filled pages of National Geographic is where my love for photography started. The mix of story telling and authenticity enthralled me, and became my reminder that there is always some beauty to be found around us.
I picked up my first professional camera in high school journalism and yearbook, and I never wanted to put it down! After a lot of pressure from my family to have a more "reasonable" career, I put photography on the back burner and spent 10 years working as a teacher, director, and special education teacher in Kansas and Ariziona.
Though I never stopped taking pictures, returning to purposeful photography felt like returning to a high-school sweetheart. I am grateful for taking the leap to be here, and even more appreciative of those I encounter in this insane journey of entreprenuership!

The Blunder Years
In this abum, you'll see the beginnings of my craft. I look through these with from time to time and with new matured eyes, and I can see where my lighting should have been better, my shutter speed higher, the aperature expanded out. Though I look at this album fondly, I take away with even more appreciation the lessons I learned along the way.
